E-Bike Top Tips
- Always turn your e-bike off before performing maintenance on it. 
- Your key has a unique number on it, save the number, it’s needed in the event that we need to order a new key 
- If you are off the e-bike for more than 4 weeks, store the battery at 60% charge. Never store the battery at 0% or !00% charge. 
- To extend the lifespan of your chain, lubricate and wipe it clean every 100 km - 200 km. This simple step can make a difference between a chain lasting 1000 km or 3000 km. 
- We offer a free first service after 6 weeks or 200 km - 400 km. After this, we recommend servicing your e-bike every 1000 km - 1500 km to catch any potential issues before they become expensive problems. 
- Keep your tires pumped up to the recommended pressure. This can have a significant impact on battery range, control, and general wear and tear. 
- Bosch and Shimano both provide a 2 year warranty on your battery and motor, covering any possible manufacturing defects or faults 
- Walk Assist function steps: 
- Bosch Intuvia: Switch the e-bike into any pedal assistance mode, press the walk button located on the top of the left hand switch, then press and hold the + button to engage walk assistance 
- Bosch Purion: witch the e-bike into any pedal assistance mode, Press the walk button located on the bottom of the left hand switch, then press and hold the + button to engage walk assistance 
- Shimano: Switch the e-bike into any pedal assistance mode. Hold the - button until the foot icon pops up, release, then press and hold the - button to engage walk assistance.
